"Caroline" is a single released by the British Rock band Status Quo in 1973. It was included on the album ''Hello!''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Status Quo discography )〕 It was written by Bob Young and Francis Rossi on a table napkin in the dining room of a hotel in Perranporth, Cornwall, in 1970. Initially a slower piece, and about a lady named Margaret, it became their first top 5 hit. In October 1982 a live version was released. Rossi re-recorded the song for his 2010 solo album ''One Step at a Time''. In 1986 co-writer Bob Young released a country music style version of "Caroline" on his solo album In Quo Country. Electronic group Apollo 440 used the intro riff of "Caroline" as the main sample in their 1999 single "Stop The Rock". == Singles == * 1973: Caroline (Rossi/Young) (3.43) / Joanne (Lancaster) (4.06) () 45 rpm Vinyl 7" Vertigo / 6059 085 Germany, United Kingdom * 1985: Caroline / Down Down 45 rpm Vinyl 7" Old Gold / OG 9566 United Kingdom 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Caroline (song)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
